1820 Settlers Monument

For the reinstatement of the 1820 Settlers Monument in Grahamstown, Ken was the project architect for this complex project that involved the redesign of the main theatre and the reinstatement of all parts of the building complex after the fire in 1994.

The new rational fire design formed an integral part of the design. He was with Osmond Lange Architects in East London and will always be very grateful for essentially leading the design, detail design, procurement and construction stages.
